This consulting project we worked with McGarry Bowen, an advertising and branding firm located in New York City, to explore design elements from world currency, and help design a series of banking, debit, and credit cards for JPMorgan Chase Bank. The series is based on a campaign to refine Chase's identity, by introducing their updated logo, and presenting their known symbol to have a stronger iconic presence. The result is a classier, richer detailed identity that evolved their brand dramatically starting with the credit card design, and carried through their other advertising and in-bank printed materials.

The background artwork/styling work we helped develop was later tied into almost every element of Chase's identity. Shown above is the artwork translated by another designer to be used for Chase's ATM control panels.

Although it's incredibly subtle, the background design is still in use today complimenting Chase's iPhone application.
